The Rev. Carol Hancock, Rector

Carol graduated from Virginia Theological Seminary in 1985 and was ordained to the priesthood in 1986. After spending 10 years in the Diocese of Upper South Carolina, she moved to northern Virginia, where she has done Interim Ministry for the past 20 years and has served 9 parishes. Carol began at St. Johnís in January 2014 as the Interim Rector. In 2015 she was appointed the Priest-in-Charge at St. John's, and in 2017 accepted the position as Priest.

Jonathan Boksan, Organist/Director of Music

Jonathan has studied at Moravian College (B.M.), The Pennsylvania State University (M.M.), and the Catholic University of America (Musicological Studies. Through his musical training, Jonathan had the opportunity to study with some fantastic teachers including Dr. Matthew Lewis, Dr. Jermey Filsell, and Dr. Vincent Benitez. Jonathan has an interest in Anglican Studies and how to utilize our vast history and musical culture in our worship service. Jonathan is a member of The American Guild of Organists, The Royal School of Church Music, The American Bach Society, and The International Mahler Society.
