Historic Church
Good Friday is marked by the reading of the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ according to John and the so-called Solemn Collects. The cross is and appears to us a horrible scene of cruelty and death but will be flowered Easter Sunday, transformed by God’s grace into beauty and new, eternal life. We will receive Communion from reserve Sacrament.
Readings:
Isaiah 52:13-53:12
Hebrews 4:14-16; 5:7-9
John 18:1-19:42
Psalm 22
